History: From Slave Quarters to the White House

I just can't allow myself to get used to the amazing event thats taking place.

Last year (hell, the last 8 years) I didn't even watch the inauguration.

I can't believe that this happened in my lifetime. I'm watching history; I'm here for what my kids, and kids' kids will read about in history books and online.

I felt enough emotion when he won the election, and now after the inauguration we can call him President Obama.

I'm not gonna get emotional yet, hence this seems appropriate...


I'm going to watch & listen to his speech when I come home from work.

I've been gone a little bit; my DSL router had been damaged and I couldn't even get my dial-up working. Things are pretty bad if you can't depend on dial-up.,
